Carla’s story…
Our CEO Carla Miller is a leadership coach and best-selling author who works with women to develop their careers and their confidence. Her book ‘Closing The Influence Gap: A practical guide for women leaders who want to be heard’ reached #1 in the Amazon charts for Business Leadership Skills and was a finalist in the 2023 Business Book Awards.
Carla’s own leadership experience includes raising £20 million for good causes and leading the fundraising at Samaritans and many other national charities; she was CEO of Tiny Tickers and then Managing Director of Charity People, a leading charity recruitment consultancy alongside founding her own coaching business.
Carla has featured in national media such The Guardian and Psychologies magazine and regularly chairs conference panels on leadership. She is the host of the chart-topping podcast – Influence & Impact for Female Leaders which has 170,000 downloads globally to date.

- I’m a solo mum by choice to a 6 year old who brings me such joy and is teaching me how to be more patient!
- I moved up to Cumbria on a whim in 2022 and it was a brilliant decision despite all the rain!
- I live about 200 metres from the rest of my family and that’s a good thing not a bad thing 🙂
